Susan Quarne is an experienced business publisher. Overseeing the inner workings of Cheese Market News since its inception in 1981, Susan delivers a standard of excellence unmatched elsewhere.

Alyssa Mitchell, CMN’s editor in chief, oversees the daily operations of the editorial office, including editing, layout and market reporting. She also writes original articles and special features. Alyssa has a degree in news editing from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. While there, she worked as a reporter and copy editor on the campus newspaper. Post-college, she worked for a year at The Gazette, a group of community newspapers in Gaithersburg, Md., doing layout and copy editing. She also worked as a copy editor for the news department of the Advisory Board Company, a health care strategy firm in Washington, D.C., for two years prior to beginning her career at CMN in 2008. |

Rena Archwamety joined the CMN staff in May 2007. As managing editor, she writes and edits news and original feature articles, including CMN’s exclusive monthly Retail WATCH profile. Rena also covers international and food safety issues, updates CMN's website and assists with the layout process. Rena received a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Carleton College and a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She worked as a copy editor for Carleton's The Carletonian and as a food and science reporter for the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s The Daily Cardinal. She also completed internships at The Kearney Hub in Kearney, Nebraska, and Muse Magazine in Chicago. Prior to joining CMN, Rena worked as a freelance writer for local and national publications. |

| Taylor Froelich - News Editor (email) |

Taylor Froelich, CMN's news editor, joined the staff in October 2021. She graduated from St. Norbert College with an English degree in 2020, and while there served on the staff of Graphos literary magazine as a copy editor, author and member of the selection committee. After college, Taylor interned remotely with a California-based independent publishing company as a content creator, editor and project manager for a year before joining the CMN staff. |
